TIZIANO ZORZAN HAS PUT HIS OWN NAME TO A FASHION LINE

Tiziano Zorzan has put his own name to a fashion line. The businessman plans to open a number of upmarket flagship stores in New York, Los Angeles and London, with further plans to expand into Asia. There is also some talk of a move into luxury travel once things really take off. His new opening is due on the 1st of July in the cool and creative Meatpacking area, 69 8th Avenue. It is not to be forgotten that I come from Italy, the place where one can enjoy an unforgettable moment of Art and history simply joining the coffee break walk with collegues. While this land and its features make it hard to convince ourselves as citizens that we are like the others partecipating the european community, it also constitutes a natural barrier against the ugly and cheap. This is where an expedition to the supermarket is often a tour through significant monuments and you can happen to park your bike in the ‘Cradle of the Renaissance’: luxury does not ever have a sinister connotation here, it’s more a natural consequence of things. Deciding to export Italian Style, to show it, is too a natural thought.

Zorzan says turning around a company from its failure is identifying the best key to make a u-­turn and accelerate in the right place at the right time, so not to lose, but rather exploit all the inertia of the previous route. One cannot stop the car, or lift it in the air and turn it one hundred and eighty degrees and then put it back down –  ”we must be influential, a little ‘dare devilish, and have a clear vision of the road you have never driven on before, the one that will constitute the new future of that company ­ or maybe the future it deserved right from the beginning”

Born and raised in Italy, Tiziano Zorzan has been part of the international entertainment industry since he was sixteen. He has experimented, travelled, planned, created, written, worked with names such as Sharon Stone, Whoopie Goldberg, Elizabeth Taylor, David Foster amongst others, overviewed and directed widely. His career isn’t confined to entertainment, as he has equally spent his time as a marketing director and brand developer, gaining plaudits at his much coveted expertise as a ‘turn-around’ management strategist. His ability to take a brand and reinvigorate, reinvent and shape the profile of, has brought him international acclaim. Experimentalism has always been an important starting point for Tiziano’s work and this has always been accompanied by an almost blind faith in on- line comms as the only possible and sustainable platform for projects development and diffusion.Currently in New York for the launch his own fashion brand and chain of shops based on customized Italian style and accessories, Tiziano Zorzan is also working on a collection of luxury homes for rental in Tuscany and Amalfi Coast.
